Our Oracle BI Performance Test service is specially designed for customers who are about to deploy a new Oracle BI solution or are planning to expand an existing implementation by adding further data sources, increasing data volumes or growing the number of users.

Using industry standard tools, the primary focus is to implement a performance test that will realistically simulate a large number of concurrent users on your own Oracle BI environment.  

The user simulations will involve activity such as invoking Dashboards, applying filters using Dashboard Prompts and initiating drill-downs.
All the activity generated by the performance test will be captured using Oracle BI “Usage Tracking”.  

The resulting data will be used to accurately report back to the customer with key KPIs such as:

• Maximum number of concurrent users
• Max/Average response times per Dashboard
• Max/Average database query times
• Total number of database queries
• Worst/best performing Users, Reports and Dashboards

In addition to the Usage Tracking data, operating system statistics will also be gathered to show how the database and application servers coped under the extreme load generated by the performance test.

At the end of the performance testing, the customer will be presented with a detailed set of findings and recommendations on how potential issues should be resolved in order to achieve sustainable long-term performance.
