Incrementally Loading Exalytics using Notepad!

This presentation was delivered at the BI Forum 2013, it explains how to write simple scripts to incrementally load tables in the TimesTen In-Memory Cache on Exayltics (using Aggregate Persistance or the Exalytics Summary Advisor).

Whilst the process explains technically how to achieve incremental loading capability, we have also developed an OBIEE plug-in called Peak ETA which will configure, schedule and maintain the incremental loading process for Exalytics - so it builds and runs all the scrips automatically for you (it also has advantages such as parallel loading, error handling and managing dependencies between tables etc).
